As the project\u2019s main sponsor, it was important for the representatives of SONNTAG &amp; PARTNER to personally meet the dedicated team behind the child protection centre and witness the impact their support is creating on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the trip was to gain a deeper understanding of the country and its people, strengthen the bond between sponsors and the project, and experience firsthand the realities faced by the children who find safety, protection and new perspectives for the future at the centre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div><div class=\"et_pb_module et_d4_element et_pb_text et_pb_text_1  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h4><span data-teams=\"true\"><strong>A Place Where Children Can Flourish<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The protection centre offers a safe haven for children who have often been rejected and stigmatised as so-called <i>\u201cwitch children.\u201d<\/i> Here, they can find peace, feel seen, play, laugh, learn \u2013 and gradually build the confidence to try new things.<\/p>\n<p>To counteract the stigma many of these children face, the centre carries out awareness-raising workshops in schools and surrounding communities.
