As part of the \u201cThrive Cubed With Music\u201d event, held in partnership with MiSST (Music in Secondary Schools Trust) and our Ambassador Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, supporters, partners, friends and young musicians came together in London to celebrate the transformative power of music education.<\/p>\n

Through personal stories and inspiring conversations, the event highlighted how access to music can build confidence, create opportunities and open new doors for young people across the UK.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

An evening of shared visions\u00a0<\/h2>\n

In his welcome address, founder Wolfgang Egger spoke about the importance of investing in young people and creating opportunities that enable them to fulfil their potential academically, personally and socially. Ambassador Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber gave a passionate speech on the importance of protecting arts education in the United Kingdom, particularly at a time when music and creative subjects continue to face significant cuts within the school system. He spoke movingly about our responsibility to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has access to creativity, culture and music education.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Young musicians from the MiSST programme opened the evening with a musical performance. Later, the students performed \u201cAdoration\u201d by Florence Price, as well as pieces from The Phantom of the Opera<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Astrid Gabler, Chair of the PATRIZIA Foundation Board, spoke together with Board Member James Muir about their recent visit to one of the programme\u2019s partner schools. James also shared how deeply an inspiring music teacher had influenced him during his own school years and why supporting education remains especially important to him today.<\/p>\n

Rachel Landon, CEO of MiSST, gave guests an insight into the programme\u2019s work and its impact on everyday life through short films and personal stories from students.<\/p>\n

A particularly special moment of the evening was the contribution from Rain Spiegel-Johnson, a former participant in the programme. She shared how music education had strengthened her confidence and positively influenced the path she has taken in life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

PATRIZIA Music Programme<\/span><\/h2>\n

Through the PATRIZIA Music Programme, the PATRIZIA Foundation is continuing its commitment to promoting education and equal opportunities across Europe. The programme was established to give children and young people from disadvantaged communities in the United Kingdom access to high-quality music education and to open up new opportunities for their personal and academic development. In partnership with MiSST, the programme supports schools in Morecambe and Manchester by providing classical musical instruments, professional music tuition and regular performance opportunities. Over a period of three years, the PATRIZIA Foundation is funding 300 instruments, creating long-term access to cultural education and helping young people build a better future through the transformative power of music.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
