Development of a KinderHaus

The development of a children’s home is a long-term, collaborative process. The PATRIZIA Foundation advises and supports the establishment of new children’s homes, providing both conceptual and programmatic guidance. Together with local partners, the content and contributions of each project are individually defined and tailored to the needs of the local children.

To ensure the sustainable impact of the children’s homes, the projects are supported for at least 25 years, regularly evaluated, and further developed.

Our Partnership Concept

We carefully select our partners, conduct thorough vetting, and establish stable frameworks. In doing so, we build a trusting and resilient collaboration with clear processes. The goal: The partnership endures – even when things get tough – and grows with the challenges. Together, we create the conditions for long-term change on the ground.

Our 25-Year Partner Program

  1. Introductory phase: Consultation with the partner organization, review of the project concept
  2. Application process: Evaluation of project ideas, approval of the application
  3. Project preparation: fundraising and networking, contract with all partners
  4. Construction phase: Detailed planning, completion of construction and program development
  5. Project management: Continuous professional support, evaluation of the project in 5 x five-year cycles.
