What we strive for
The beginnings of our foundation lie in Tanzania. Our projects in Africa’s fifth-largest country are representative of the things the PATRIZIA Foundation cares about most: access to education, equal opportunities and a life of self-determination for children and adolescents all over the world. In over 20 years we have been able to write many tales of happiness. This success drives us to create educational infrastructures where they are most urgently needed. And thus, to help as many children as possible to grow up and learn in a safe environment.
With our many years of know-how from the world of finance and real estate, we guarantee that every donated euro will be invested in the best possible way. And every donation flows 100 percent into the projects. Because only in this way can one euro be turned into another. This is the source of our motivation – and the joy of our work.
Just some of the things we have already accomplished: facts and figures
In 2020, 5,054 children – who would otherwise have little prospect of enjoying a life of self-determination – were given the life-changing opportunity to attend one of our schools.
11,655 children received in 2020 essential medical treatment and general healthcare support through our hospitals and nursing homes.
In 2020, our children’s accomodations offered a secure and comfortable place to live to 486 children in need.
Since our foundation in 1999, we have already been able to help more than 237,000 children and young people around the world.
We have been committed to the welfare of children and adolescents worldwide for 22 years. Our experience makes us a partner children can genuinely rely on.
To date, we have built 19 KinderHaus facilities worldwide, including schools, hospitals and accomodations. We have also succeeded in adding at least one facility every year.
