PATRIZIA School Ndalama
St. Leticia Secondary School is located in a fast-growing area northwest of the Zambian capital, Lusaka. Although many children and young people live here, there is no secondary school. This means long distances for the students and high transport costs for their families.
The consequences: Very few young people are able to continue their education, and drop-out rates are high. As a result, most young people don’t have access to quality vocational training or higher education. Illiteracy and unemployment rates are particularly high among young people.

“With your donation, you are helping to ensure that young people in the Ndalama region have access to high-quality secondary education – the prerequisite for a self-determined life free from poverty.”
Astrid Gabler
Chairwoman of the Board PATRIZIA Foundation
Creating an educational campus
The PATRIZIA School Ndalama will fundamentally improve the local situation as the new school will primarily benefit disadvantaged children from poor communities in the surrounding area.
The secondary school is already under construction, but it still lacks dormitories for students living further away, accommodation for teachers and a kitchen to provide meals for the children and young people.
The vision of the school: to create a complete educational campus with pre-school and elementary school as well as a vocational training centre.

Our promise:
100% of your donation goes directly to our projects.
Disrupting the cycle of poor education
The planned measures for the PATRIZIA School Ndalama include:
Improving Learning Infrastructure:
By constructing dormitories and a kitchen, the school ensures a safe and child-friendly environment that promotes students’ health and well-being.
Expanding Educational Access:
Additional classrooms will allow more pupils to attend school, helping to bridge the gap in education access
Enhancing Education Quality:
Investments in infrastructure and resources are aimed at improving the quality of education, providing students with better learning conditions and opportunities.
Promoting Sustainability and Equality:
The school focuses on long-term development, fostering equal opportunities. Through sustainable practices, it aims to raise ecological awareness within the local community.
Empowering Communities:
By addressing educational challenges, the school helps uplift the entire community, contributing to a brighter future for children and their families in Zambia.
