PATRIZIA Ardennes Adventure Challenge 2026
New paths, new goals: Setting course for Luxembourg
From September 20 to 23, 2026, the PATRIZIA Hiking Challenge will take place for the sixth time. 50 PATRIZIA employees as well as dedicated sponsors and partners will take on a sporting challenge in Luxembourg to raise funds together for a good cause. The hike follows the renowned Escapardenne Lee Trail, one of the few hiking routes in Europe certified as a “Leading Quality Trail.” It includes demanding stages of 25 kilometres with around 900 metres of elevation per day, leading through the diverse landscapes of northern Luxembourg past impressive rock formations, historic landmarks, and castles.

In recent years, this initiative has already generated more than EUR 650,000 for global education projects of the PATRIZIA Foundation. This year, our focus is on the PATRIZIA Child Care Mymensingh in Bangladesh.

Our goal: €170,000
for the children in Mymensingh, Bangladesh.
You too can make a valuable contribution toward achieving our goal! Every euro counts and goes directly to our project.
PATRIZIA Child Care Mymensingh
In Bangladesh, approximately 40 million people live below the poverty line. In Mymensingh, north of Dhaka, children are often left to fend for themselves while their mothers are at work. Alternatively, older sisters care for their younger siblings and, as a result, are unable to attend school themselves. The PATRIZIA Child Care Mymensingh is breaking this cycle of poverty.
The new daycare centre in Mymensingh provides early childhood education for 200 disadvantaged children each year. Children aged 18 months to six years are supported through play-based learning in four childcare groups, as well as complementary weekend programmes. This also enables older siblings to attend school and allows mothers to work. The facility is operated by the local partner MATI e.V.
What makes the concept behind the building so special is that, once completed, it will not only house the child care centre, but also rental apartments, a training centre for sewing and IT professions, a health centre, a pharmacy and a shop selling organic products from a local farmers' cooperative. The income covers most of the local partner's running costs for the daycare centre.
Support services for 60 families, courses for 100 mothers and a cooperative for 160 women will create additional impact and ten skilled jobs for women from poor families. Through early childhood education training for surrounding schools, the centre is becoming a multiplier that will reach thousands of children and families in the region in the long term.

Together with MATI Bangladesh, the PATRIZIA Foundation is creating a facility designed to be financially self-sustaining in the long term, while offering families a real opportunity for a self-determined future.

Highlights from Our Past Hiking Challenges
Italian Peaks Challenge 2025
From September 20 to 23, 2025, 60 PATRIZIA colleagues and sponsors from across Europe took on the stunning Dolomites. Covering stages of over 20 km and up to 1,300 meters of elevation per day, the route around Sexten reached heights of over 2,500 meters.
The ambitious fundraising goal was even surpassed: an incredible €170,000 went toward expanding the PATRIZIA School Muniguda in India. This expansion gives 400 additional students access to higher education, offering them the chance for a self-determined life, free from early marriage and poverty.
Chamonix Adventure Challenge 2024
To mark the 40th anniversary of PATRIZIA SE, a record number of 120 participants took part at the Chamonix Aventure Challenge 2024. They hiked and mountain biked through the stunning Mont Blanc region in support of children in Bafia, Cameroon. Together, we raised an incredible €210,000 – funding the renovation of the old school building and the construction of a brand-new, two-storey classroom block with a library, IT room, wheelchair ramp and accessible sanitary facilities.
La Isla Challenge 2023
At the La Isla Challenge 2023, 65 PATRIZIAns and sponsors joined forces to support the PATRIZIA School Sondoveni, located deep in the Peruvian Amazon.
In just three months, they raised €130,000 to help indigenous children access quality education. A 50km hike along the coastline of our “Island of Hope”, Mallorca, helped fund new classrooms, teacher accommodation, and more.
Thank you!
Bavarian Peaks Challenge 2022
In 2022, our hikers covered 30km and climbed nearly 2,000 metres across the Bavarian Alps, raising €130,000 in just two months.
The funds of the Bavarian Peaks Challenge 2022 supported the renovation and expansion of the PATRIZIA Primary School Songea in southern Tanzania.
Lake District Challenge 2021
Launched by four passionate PATRIZIAns as a volunteering initiative, the very first PATRIZIA Hiking Challenge took us across 24 peaks in the Lake District National Park in Northern England.
Over €100,000 was raised to support the PATRIZIA School Buyamba in Uganda, funding rainwater harvesting systems, new classrooms, and much-needed renovations after the pandemic.
