On 16 December 2023, it’s that time again: the Regensburger Domspatzen will enchant you with a contemplative Advent concert in the Frauenfriedenskirche in Frankfurt. The world-famous boys’ choir has been in existence for over 1000 years and sings as part of the PATRIZIA Foundation “Hearts4Change” campaign in aid of the Don Bosco Secondary School Muniguda in India.
In 2023, true to the motto “Solidarity through Music”, we will continue to enable young people to access education together with the Regensburger Domspatzen!
100% of the proceeds from entrance fees and other donations will go directly to the education and awareness project for young people living in one of the poorest regions in India. Ticket sales for the pre-Christmas benefit concert will start shortly. Let us notify you and secure your ticket early.
Last year, thanks to a more than successful concert evening in the beautiful St. Anna Church in Augsburg, 35,000 euros in donations flowed into the EduCare Europe Fund. The musical evening and the accompanying Christmas market in the courtyard of the church were held in aid of Ukrainian children who had fled to Augsburg.
Support the expansion of the comprehensive school in Muniguda
This year, the “Hearts4Change” campaign is the overarching initiative under whose umbrella the benefit concert will take place. The Don Bosco Secondary School Muniguda in India aims to offer young girls better prospects in the labour market through access to education and thus an alternative to child marriage. In addition, the project aims to even out characteristic educational differences, reduce school dropouts and increase the literacy rate in the village and surrounding communities.
